Pastor Matthew Holtz
Hi! My name is Matt Holtz and I am the Pastor at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church. I began serving as Pastor here in October of 2011. Previously, I served as a Pastor in Wisconsin from 2001-2011.

I was born and raised in Saginaw, MI. There I attended St. Paul Lutheran School during my grade school years and Michigan Lutheran Seminary during my high school years. I graduated from Martin Luther College in New Ulm, MN with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1997 and continued my training to be a Pastor at Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in Mequon, WI where I graduated with a Master of Divinity degree in 2001. As part of my seminary training I served an intern year at St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Janesville, WI.

I was married to Amy (Larsen) on July 10, 1999. We have been blessed with six children: Madelyn, Jonathan, Lucas, Kody, Samuel and Silas.

On my days off I enjoy playing with my children, golfing, and hiking.
